THE VERY GENTLE MURDERS

A plastical translation based on the similarly named Ray Bradbury's tale

Directorial debut of Mimicry Theatre's actress Polina Karabchikova which has grown from her Thesis paper in Tyumen State Academy of Culture and Arts (May 2015). In December 2015 the performance got a scholarship support from the Government of Tyumen Region in the nomination "The performance staging in amateur theater"

A genre of the staging is determined by play's director as "plastical translation". In this work you can notice the recognizable Mimicry Theatre's style: a special plastical language and interactivity. The main roles are played by Maya Schultz and Denis Kuzyakov - the Mimicry Theatre actors. They are hardly recognized on the stage: they easily transform from young people to 80 years old persons. But under the old characters' mask irrepressible energy and desire to live are breaking away!
